Someone asked me once, “how do you know if you’re ready to get married?” and I remember pondering about my answer for a while. The answer feels like something I’d respond with when someone asks me, “how do you know if you’re ready to have another child?” I don’t think that we’re ever really ready to welcome new members into the family. I don’t think that we’re ever really ready to step into a new season of life. I don’t think that we’re ever really ready to marry. You just got to decide and do it.
